A veteran of three presidential campaigns, Stephanie is an

expert in the field of political fundraising and has successfully

raised over $200M for the Democratic Party, charities, and

non-profit organizations.

Kahlil Byrd

Kahlil Byrd, Corporate Development

Founder and CEO of Forward Progress in Politics. Kahlil was

formerly President of Student First, a political advocacy group

founded by Michelle Ree. From 2009-2012, he was CEO of

Americans Elect which aimed to reshape the U.S. presidential

primary system and nominate a bipartisan candidate. He regularly

advises Republican leaders and advocates.

Yaël Ossowski​

Yaël Ossowski is deputy director for the Consumer Choice Center, and senior development officer for Students For Liberty.

He was previously’s Florida Bureau Chief, chief Spanish translator, and national investigative reporter from 2012-2015.

Yaël has worked as a multimedia journalist across the United States, Canada, and Europe.

He is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, and hosts a weekly podcast on life abroad called The Innocents Abroad.

He studied at Concordia University in Montréal, the University of Vienna, and is currently seeking a Master’s Degree in Philosophy, Politics, Economics (PPE) at the CEVRO Institute in Prague.

Tom is an Adjunct Statistics Professor at New Jersey City

University School of Business at both undergraduate and

graduate levels. Tom helps technology startups to

operationalize data analytics. He holds a MBA from Xavier


Dawn Barber

Dawn  is the CoFounder NY Tech Meetup. She has advised

numerous tech start-ups, business and governmental entities, and

investors alike. She was one of NYNMA’s directors from

1998-2001. She has produced several Shorty Awards, Gadgetoff,

etc. Dawn was one of the first Pipeline Fund fellow and sits on the

boards of InSITE and MOUSE. In addition, she serves on the

Alliance for Downtown NY Leadership Council NYC’s COPIC

Patricia Duff

Founder of The Common Good, a non-profit, non-partisan

organization that strives to bridge the growing divisions that

threaten the nation; she has worked as a political strategist in DC,

assisted with dozens of political races across the U.S., served on

the Congressional investigative committee that reexamined the

assassinations of JFK and MLK, and has sat on a number of

boards including, Library of Congress Board of Trustees,

Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service Board of

Visitors, Lincoln Center Film Society.
